Understanding the Patient Journey (Medicaid)

In this course, we’ll learn about the steps of the patient journey, from prior to care, to care and treatment, and finishing with after care. We’ll discuss the staff members that patients will encounter along the journey and the importance of mapping out a patient’s journey in order to ensure a patient-centric environment.

  • Describe the importance of creating a Patient Journey Map and its benefits to the organization
  • Identify actionable steps to improve the patient journey
