Patient Liability Determination (Medi-Cal)
Most patients, whether or not they have insurance, pay part of the cost for their medical care out of their own pockets. Patient liability is any amount a patient owes a healthcare provider that is not covered by a third-party insurer. In this course, we consider the factors used to determine patient liability for both insured and uninsured patients.
