CMS Reimbursement Methodologies Overview (Medi-Cal)

To control the cost of inpatient care, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) introduced the first prospective payment system in 1983. CMS reimbursement methodologies continue to progress throughout the years. In this course, we will provide an overview of the history and organization of CMS reimbursement systems.
